Mr. Blen ROMAM is originally from Jarai indigenous in the Northeastern of Ratanakiri Province. He is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations at the University of Cambodia 2021-2024. 

Blen has diverse experiences in social work for international organizations and local organizations. He used to be a librarian for the Cambodia Indigenous Library of Cambodia Indigenous Peoples Organization (CIPO). He is currently working as a Communication Officer at CIPO (2022-Present). He was a member of Youth Resilience under the Good Governance for Transparency International Cambodia (2021-2022). He is a former Project Assistant Intern at Cambodia Youth Network (March-July, 2023).

Blen is the first Indigenous Jarai to attend the Young Southeast Asian Leadership Initiative-YSEALI in the United States in 2023. He also participated in the Exchange program in Malaysia in 2023. He attended the Paris Peace Forum which is the international forum in Paris, France 2022. Apart from this, in 2022, he successfully completed the Youth Energy (YE) Professional Fellowship Program at Transparency International Cambodia-TIC. 

Besides the social work experiences, Blen is a blogger and researcher who is passionate about indigenous history and scholarship sharing to young people. His interests are indigenous history and economic research.
