The lifestyle of those indigenous peoples adhere to their customs and they do their agricultural and plantation works on plots of land they occupy according to the code of the formulas, and the tradition of the collective use the lands. together, indigenous peoples make up approximately 1 percent of the total population and have been living with the Khmer ethnic group in harmony in a number of provinces such as Ratanakiri, Mondulkiri, Kratie, Preah Vihear, Kompong Thom, Stung Treng, Udor Meanchey, Kompong Cham, Pursat, Kompong Speu, Koh Kong, Battambang, Preah Sihanouk, Banteay Meanchey, Siem Reap provinces and in other areas.
