The report is based on existing documentation and data acquired during fieldwork in 27 indigenous villages across four provinces between 2016 and 2018. The interview was conducted with eight separate indigenous groups, totaling 4,023 families and 16,126 people, including 73,070 women.

The purpose of this report is to look at the indigenous peoples-related instruments that the Cambodian government has ratified and adopted. The goal of the study is to identify any loopholes or gaps in the state’s implementation and make recommendations for improvement.
