CIPO want to see Indigenous Peoples (IP) with the capacity to pro-actively and responsibly promote their communities, living with dignity and as a permanent entity within the multicultural society of Cambodia.
CIPO’s goal is to build the capacity of IPs, and empower them to take the lead and own the development processes of IP communities in Cambodia.
CIPO exists to improve the well-being and rights of Indigenous Peoples (‘IP’) and to aid IP communities in sustainable development. We will do this by: strengthening IP’s sense of ownership to land and management of natural resources, supporting economic development, and aiding in the conservation of IP’s culture and traditions.
we believe in the potential of others (especially women and youth) to develop and define their own direction.
we value equitable relationships between peoples regardless of culture/tradition, ethnicity, status, hierarchy, gender, age, political trend or background.
Integrity and accountability:
we value integrity and we believe in holding ourselves accountable to all stakeholders.
Solidarity and sacrifice:
we value solidarity and we sacrifice for common spirit, collective benefits and commitment to develop and sustain IP community.
