Recognizing the inseparable link between peoples and development, CIPO advocates for and supports the government of Cambodia to conduct IP census and produce report properly and to develop concrete strategy and plan to conserve and develop all IP communities in Cambodia.
CIPO is an active member of the Cambodia Indigenous Peoples Alliance (CIPA). We pay high attention to mobilize and establish IP networks and strengthen collaboration between stakeholder groups who share values and mission supporting the wellbeing of the IPs society.
CIPO believes in the capability of IPs, who have in-depth understanding of the local context, to take leading roles in order to make real and sustainable change to the IPs society.
CIPO builds and strengthens the capacity of IPs and its communities in order them have full capacity and confidence to participate in social dialogue and development activities as well as to serve other IPs and the whole society of Cambodia.
